Environmental Noise Seminar

Understand Legislation and Laws for Environmental Noise

Whilst it is a commonly held belief that an "Englishman's home is his castle" this does not mean that you are free to do whatever you like on your own property.

As soon as someone's activities start to interfere with someone else's enjoyment of their land, they run the risk of the local Environmental Protection Officer becoming involved. If these activities are causing a Statutory Nuisance the Council will require 'abatement of the nuisance' – in other words, stop causing a problem.
